- This topographic complexity has been converted from the Discrete Global Grid (DGG) to 0.25 degree regular grid by nearest neighbor search: The topographic complexity has been derived from GTOPO30 data. For each cell of the DGG, standard deviation of elevation were calculated and the result were normalized to values between 0 and 100.
